Cooks & Company opened their doors to the ladies of Lindrick golf club for a day of cooking and baking. A thoroughly good time was had by all with good food and great company.
Cooks & Company have received a lovely thank you letter from the organisers of the Strawberry Ball. We are very honored to have received this letter and to have been part of the fundraising. All of us at Cooks & Company wishes The Strawberry Ball Committee every success in their future fundraising endeavors for such a worthy cause.
On behalf of The Strawberry Ball Committee, we would like to send our heartfelt thanks to you for so kindly sponsoring our event on the 20th October by giving us a Smeg Kitchen Stand Mixer as a prize.
We had over 350 guests in attendance at the Ball, and it is with the generosity and kindness of people like yourself that we are very proud to tell you that the evening raised the grand total of £36,000.
Along with our sponsored bike ride which took place earlier this year, our grand total now stands at £82,000 which will go towards the purchase of a new Mammography Scanner at the Nottingham Breast Institute.
Some breaking news is that the Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust have nominated us for an award at their annual NUHonours Awards 2018, and we have just been told that we have been shortlisted in the category of Community Champion Award.
The results are to be announced at a Black Tie dinner on the 23rd November. Again, thank you so much for your kindness and generosity.
